MUSIC AT THE MARITIME
Channel Islands Maritime Museum’s Premier Fundraiser, Music at the Maritime, is given in appreciation of the many people and businesses that support the museum through their generous donations. These sponsorship's are responsible for helping to keep the museum doors open throughout the year.
The 6th Annual Music at the Maritime was another fun-filled evening, with a sit-down dinner buffet by CSUCI University Auxiliary Services, live & silent auctions, and live entertainment by talented singing duo, Sharon and Jade Hendrix. A dynamic and inspiring show, with special guests and stories. Sharon, a world-renowned back-up vocalist for the likes of Stevie Wonder, Tom Jones and Barry Manilow, and Jade, an up and coming singer-songwriter from right here in Ventura County. Their universal music and program speaks to young and old, offering an intimate insight into a beautiful familial bond for which music is the bedrock.
CIMM’s premier fundraiser, Music at the Maritime is an intimate evening of musical entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, dinner and libations. Over one hundred guests from local businesses, yacht clubs, ports and marinas, private foundations, and individual sponsors enjoy an evening of excellent company while supporting our special museum. The sponsorship's are appreciated and are so very valuable in helping to keep the museum doors open for another year.
Proceeds from this event fund cutting edge educational programs, exhibits, and events that everyone can benefit by exploring Ventura County’s rich maritime legacy and its influences on contemporary life.
